Transforming Home Health Care

Jenna started her career 10 years ago as a home care assistant visiting clients in their own home. Jenna thoroughly enjoyed her work and clients benefitted from her passion for the provision of the best care she could offer. She worked hard to improve the clients’ experience, always focusing on welfare standards. 

Jenna’s hard work helped her to achieve several promotions and her dedication to her work resulted in her progressing through the company hierarchy from Care Assistant-Senior Care Worker-Care Co-ordinator-Deputy Manager and Registered Manager. 

Jenna gained her NVQ Level 2, 3 and 5 in Health and Social care qualifications whilst working full time within the Care Sector.

After Jenna was promoted to Registered Manager as an employee, she was determined to provide the highest standard of care to clients and put measures in place to ensure that staff are rewarded for their hard work and dedication. This determination was driven by the problems of staff retention and poor motivation, which resulted in high levels of staff turnover.

It troubled her to see that this had an impact on clients who all need a consistent continuity of care to enable rapport and trust between the client and the care giver.

Jenna decided the best course of action, given her years of experience in the Care Industry was to start her own venture. She began by researching, planning, and recently completed her registration with CQC. After successfully passing her registration, she was then able to establish her venture.

Jenna’s mission is that both herself and her team will strive to provide the highest possible quality care with low staff turnover.
